Emergency First Aid at Work 6 Hour Level 3 (VTQ) - EFAW

Please wear comfortable, suitable clothing, as this is an interactive and practical course. If you have any physical requirements or additional learning needs, please let me know in advance. We are committed to making our courses as inclusive as possible and will make reasonable adjustments where we can. Full attendance is required in order to achieve the qualification. Unfortunately, you will not be able to start late, miss sections, or leave early and still gain certification. Photo ID: Please bring one form of photo identification with you on the day. Assessment: We now operate paperless assessments. The theory assessment will be completed on your smartphone. If you do not have access to one, please let us know in advance and we will provide a tablet. The assessment is multiple choice and there is nothing to worry about — everything you need to know will be fully covered during the course. Please note that the course is delivered and assessed in English. Assessments can be completed verbally where reasonable adjustments are required; however, learners must be able to understand the subject content. Some practical elements of the course require kneeling and working at floor level. If you have any injuries or medical conditions that may prevent you from doing this, please inform us before attending, as this could affect your ability to complete the course successfully. Course Materials: All learners will receive a course manual at the start of the day. Everything covered in the training is included in the manual, so note-taking is not essential — although there is space at the back if you wish to make notes. There will be short refreshment breaks throughout the day, as well as a 30-minute lunch break.
